The 2022 census database is now live!

Users now have access to the wealth of information in the 2022 census database. Data for various regional levels - Germany, Länder, administrative districts, municipalities and boroughs (Berlin, Hamburg) - can be retrieved from the census database, combined with other variables and evaluated. Various output formats are available for further data processing. The census database is based on the same technology as the other databases provided by official statistics agencies in Germany. Other applications can also communicate with the database directly (API) via programming languages.
